Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Let me first say that I do not think Angelina Jolie is the sexiest woman alive or any such epithet that males (and some females) often tack on her.

In fact I was thoroughly disappointed with her in the Tomb Raider series. To put it bluntly, she does nothing for me.

That changed with Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

While Brad Pitt certainly displayed a charming side he was still the same old guy from his older movies except that the humor was more enjoyable.

Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. Smith proved to be one of the most enjoyable movies I had seen in a long time. The plot is nothing remarkable and sometimes it is downright predictable.

You know that things are going to work out for our couple yet there is always a persistent amount of fun from the argument on curtains to the closing scene where Angelina Jolie sticks Brad Pitt in the leg with a knife.

The movie accomplishes its point without taking itself too seriously.

One of the most hilarious sequences takes place when Mr. and Mrs. Smith are discussing their "marriage" during a high-speed car chase.

Now that is something you do not get to see every day.
